Economic Performance

Belfast City Centre Management, through its public/private partnership structure, is committed to assisting our core funders in their efforts to increase economic performance in Belfast city centre, and maintain Belfast’s unique position as the major economic driver for the whole Northern Ireland region.

BCCM has developed an effective cross sector Performance Steering Group with representation from retail, hospitality, tourism and transport providers, enabling the capture of performance and perception data across a broader business spectrum.

The PSNI provides crime statistics and has an opportunity to engage directly with businesses on a range of city centre issues.

Monthly engagement with businesses enables BCCM to collate consistent and credible data which helps inform and advise on the economic wellbeing of the city centre.

BCCM produces surveys and research on vacancy rates, economic performance reports and festive trading reports.
