NI Water is due to invest £5 million to improve the sewerage infrastructure in the Ormeau area of Belfast City Centre. Once completed, the investment will significantly reduce the risk of pollution and flooding.
Affected areas include:
• Sandy Row
• Bruce Street
• Bankmore area
• Dublin Road
• Bedford Street
• Linenhall Street
Due to the scale of the works, the project will last approximately 16 months and include lane closures and a reduction of available car parking in the area.
In preparation, NI Water invites you to attend a ‘drop in’ consultation event at which you can learn more about the project and raise any concerns you may have.
