The 39th annual Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon will take place on Sunday 3 May 2020.
Belfast is one of the leading marathons in the UK and Ireland and is an AIMS certified race and qualifying event for the Abbott World Marathon Majors Wanda Age Group Rankings.
Around 20,000 participants are expected to take part this year, in the largest single participatory sporting event in Northern Ireland. There are events to suit all levels of fitness from the Marathon, two to five person Team Relay (leg distances 4.2-6.8 miles), 8 Mile Walkand Fun Run (approx 3 miles).
The race will begin at 9am on Prince of Wales Avenue, Stormont Estate and will finish in Ormeau Park. The Fun Run will start and finish in Stormont Estate.
The event will be working closely with their Official Charity Partner – Cancer Focus Northern Ireland. Participants are encouraged to #MakeItCount and run, walk or wheel for team Cancer Focus NI in 2020 to help more people survive from cancer.
Entries are NOW OPEN at www.belfastcitymarathon.com via the brand new Eventmaster online registration station. Entries can be made via mobile or desktop with an early rate available until 29 November 2019. A middle rate will apply from 30 November 2019 – 28 February 2020 and a final rate from 1 March 2020. The very final entry deadline will be at midnight on Friday 10 April 2020.
