City Centre Parade - Saturday 20th May 2017

Due to a large parade of up to 8000 participants taking place in Belfast on Saturday 20th May 2017, Police wish to advise those travelling into and around Belfast City Centre that they may experience some traffic disruption between 12.00 midday and 3.00pm.

Parade assembles then departs: 1:00pm

• Falls Road
• Divis Street (A501)
• Castle Street
• Donegall Place
• Rally in front of Belfast City Hall (Donegall Square North). The rally should finish and disperse by 3.30pm.

Vehicular traffic may experience delays in and around the Falls Road, Divis Street and Castle Street areas. In addition, there may also be disruption to traffic in and around the City Hall during this period; police traffic control measures will be in place to minimise disruption.

Anyone intending to use public buses during this time should refer to the Translink website for details.

Police, in partnership with Belfast City Centre Management, would encourage those coming to Belfast on Saturday to plan ahead and leave extra time for their journey as Belfast is very much open for business as usual.
